Reappointment and Oath of Office of Fred Podesta as Director, Department of Finance and Administrative Services, for a term to July 25, 2018. 

 

PUBLIC SAFETY, CIVIL RIGHTS, AND TECHNOLOGY COMMITTEE:

2. Res. 31538 ADOPTED (9-0)

Relating to Indigenous Peoples’ Day; declaring the second Monday in October as Indigenous Peoples’ Day in the City of Seattle; encouraging other institutions to recognize the Day; and reaffirming the City’s commitment to promote the well-being and growth of Seattle’s American Indian and Indigenous community.

 

COMMITTEE ON THE CENTRAL WATERFRONT, SEAWALL, AND ALASKAN WAY VIADUCT REPLACEMENT PROGRAM:

Concerning the Central Waterfront; commending the work of the Central Waterfront Committee, dissolving that Committee and superseding Resolution 31264; and establishing a new Central Waterfront Steering Committee to advise the City on implementing the Central Waterfront Concept Design and Strategic Plan to create a series of new parks and public spaces on the Central Waterfront, and on building the broader partnerships necessary for it to succeed.
