Council to discuss confirmation of Kathleen O’Toole as Police Chief
Seattle – Councilmember Bruce Harrell will convene a Public Safety, Civil Rights, and Technology committee meeting this Wednesday to begin discussion of the appointment of Kathleen O’Toole as Chief of Police for the Seattle Police Department. O’Toole was nominated for Chief of Police by Mayor Ed Murray on May 19, and her appointment is subject to Council confirmation.
O’Toole will provide introductory remarks and speak on her background and experience, followed by the initial round of questions from Councilmembers.
