Affordable Housing Forum to address increasing rents, highlight innovative solutions
Seattle – City Council will host a Workforce Housing Forum to discuss Seattle’s affordable housing needs and the best methods to meet growing demand. National experts have compared conditions in Seattle against similar cities from across the country and will discuss new ideas and best practices relating to increasing affordable housing.
The City is currently evaluating the best methods increase the supply of affordable housing in Seattle by engaging with national experts, consultants, stakeholders, and the public. The Workforce Housing Forum will help inform City Council’s work going forward.
The forum is free and the public is welcome to attend.
