On July 17 a new customer service center opened in the lobby of the Seattle Municipal Tower. It’s located just off the entrance at 5th and Cherry, and is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
At the center you can pay utility bills and taxes, purchase pet licenses, get a business license, and obtain information about other city services, as well as referrals.
It is a pilot project that will continue through the end of the year. The Department of Finance and Administrative Service will track how often it’s used and determine whether keeping it open in 2014 makes sense.
Additional information is available in a press release. You can also call 206-684-2489 (CITY) with any questions.
