Councilmembers to host economic development meeting in Rainier Valley

SEATTLEJoin City Councilmembers for a meeting in Rainier Valley to discuss economic-oriented development in Rainier Valley neighborhoods. Councilmembers will hear from the public and receive updates about equitable transit-oriented development around each of the light rail station stops in Rainier Valley and on Beacon Hill. The Rainier Valley Community Development Fund will present their work to help businesses and commercial development in the Valley; and the Rainier Chamber of Commerce will provide a progress report on recruiting new businesses and commercial development.

WHAT: Special off-site meeting of the Council’s Committee on Economic Resiliency and Regional Relations (CERRR)

WHEN: TOMORROW – Tuesday, June 4, 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

WHERE: New Holly Gathering Hall, 7054 32nd Ave South, Seattle
