As many of you know SDOT is overhauling the City’s Bicycle Master Plan this winter. This is your chance to plan for a comprehensive network of over 200 miles of world-class bikeways. The deadline is December 17, 2012.
Last month, SDOT unrolled their draft network map for bicycling in Seattle.
There are miles and miles of safe, convenient and comfortable places to bike represented on their draft network map, but there are also significant gaps. The Cascade Bicycle Club has researched the map for you and they have identified several gaps in each sector of the proposed network for your consideration when using the online tool. We could use your knowledge of what works in your community. Draw lines on the map where you see gaps in your neighborhood, or email your comments to SDOT.
