Next Monday, February 13 King County Metro will begin holding community meetings about proposed changes for Seattle bus service scheduled for September, 2012. This will be an opportunity to find out more about the proposals, talk with county staff, and provide comments.
The changes are proposed in coordination with the addition of the RapidRide C and D lines, which will provide connections from Ballard to West Seattle via Downtown. Metro proposed a first version of the changes in November, and took public comments, and revised their proposal. They’ll take comments and then make a recommendation for the County Council to consider in the spring. The County Council must approve any changes.
You can go to September 2012 Service Changes webpage for details about specific bus routes, take an online survey, and sign up for a notification list.
