Thanks-Give-N-Go turkey give-away tomorrow evening
Local professional athletes and elected officials partner with Safeway to help families in need
Seattle – Local NBA stars Brandon Roy, Jamal Crawford, Will Conroy, Isaiah Thomas Spencer Hawes (“The Home Team”) and Seahawks player Kam Chancellor have teamed up with Seattle City Councilmember Bruce Harrell and Mayor Mike McGinn in an effort to provide complete holiday meals for 2,000 Seattle families.
The “Home Team” has partnered with Safeway on purchasing 2,000 turkeys and in return Safeway will donate of the traditional Thanksgiving “trimmings.”

At the event, complete Thanksgiving dinners will be given away to the 2,000 families who signed up at Seattle Community Centers.
