Options A-DThe Finance and Culture Committee will hold a second public hearing on the proposed University District Business Improvement Area (BIA) on Wednesday, March 25, at 2 p.m. in the City Council chambers at City Hall. Sign-up begins at 1:30 p.m. City Hall is located at 600 4th Avenue, between Cherry and James.

Based on public comment, the committee is considering changing the boundaries of the proposed BIA from the original proposal. Four potential options are listed: Options A, B and C would reduce the size of the proposed BIA; Option D would expand the BIA. You can view all the options at the  University District BIA issue page, or download them as a pdf here.

The maps illustrate the types and range of boundary changes that the Finance and Culture Committee is considering; the committee may decide to amend C.B. 118302 to reflect one of these options, or a variant or combination of these options.

Additional background, and materials from previous committee discussions are available at the University District BIA issue page.

The Finance and Culture Committee will next meet on Friday, April 3 at 2 p.m.
