Council to hold Town Hall on proposed 2014 budget

SEATTLE – City Council will host its second of two public hearings related to the 2014 budget next Thursday evening at Garfield High School. The public will have an opportunity to address Councilmembers regarding their priorities for the 2014 city budget.

Council received the Mayor’s 2014 budget proposal on September 23. Councilmembers are currently reviewing and modifying the proposal to meet the needs of Seattle residents in areas such as public safety, education, transportation and affordability.
