Does your neighborhood have a transportation problem that needs to be addressed?

The City’s Neighborhood Street Fund program is now accepting applications for the third of three rounds of funding from the Bridging the Gap (BTG) levy.  Up to $4.5 million will be spent by Seattle’s Department of Transportation (SDOT) on projects selected from those considered most important by Seattle’s 13 Neighborhood District Councils.

Any transportation project may be proposed as long as it is sufficiently large (greater than $100,000) and completely within SDOT’s right-of-way, but applications must be submitted by December 17th, 2012.

The program’s website http://www.seattle.gov/transportation/btg_nsf_large.htm has information about projects selected previously, the easy on-line application process, how projects will be selected and when they will be built.

If you  have any questions after reading through the website, please send them to NSF@seattle.gov .
