City of Burien Newsletter-The City Report
Since May 2011, a transportation consultant and the Transportation Master Plan Advisory Committee have been working on the City’s Transportation Master Plan (TMP). Besides analyzing Burien’s transportation system, they are conducting a review of existing Comprehensive Plan transportation policies to develop a new transportation vision for the City. The TMP provides a comprehensive, integrated transportation network with infrastructure and design that allows safe and convenient travel for all users, including pedestrians, bicyclists, motor vehicle drivers, and public transit users.
The draft plan will be presented to the City Council at its meeting on Monday, April 16. The public is welcome to attend. See draft Transportation Master Plan
