Home » Nominations open for 2011 Mayor’s Arts Awards

Know an individual or an organization making a difference in Seattle through arts and culture? Nominate them for a 2011 Mayor’s Arts Award. Mayor Mike McGinn will present the awards at a ceremony, Thursday, Sept. 1, at Seattle Center in partnership with Bumbershoot, Seattle’s Music & Arts Festival.

This year marks the 40th anniversary of the Seattle Arts Commission and the Seattle Office of Arts & Cultural Affairs. The milestone is a celebration of the extraordinary creative community that has been shaping our city for many years. We invite you to tell us about people or organizations that have made a significant impact in the arts in Seattle during the last four decades.

Use the online nomination form and transmit it before the 5 p.m. deadline on Thursday, May 5th, 2011.
